We need to be productive every day. Just watching Netflix or scrolling through Instagram all day is not good and not at all productive. We are not perfectly productive in our life. Everyone craves for some relaxation and entertainment after so much work. But we need to be productive in our life. Here are the few apps which help you be productive. Each app is for different categories like for habit tracking, scheduling, etc. These all work differently but will surely help you to be productive.

1. Habatica (Habit tracking)

Habitica is a very interesting habit tracking app as it connects our life to a game. After we create an account in Habitica we get a character to customize. Then we need to add our habits which may be positive, negative, or both. We can also add our dailies. Habits are generally those which you repeat multiple times in a day but dailies are done once in a day. We can also add To-dos to it. After we complete a task or practice a habit, you should check-off and you get some experience and gold.

If we fail to do that task or you check-off a negative habit, you will lose health and can not be gained until you level up. You can also add rewards and buy them with the coins you have earned. We can buy pets, potions and also can change our class after level 10. We can make party's with friends and also join many challenges to keep ourselves motivated. This is the best app to gamify your life.

2. Todoist (To-do lists)

This is a good app to manage your Todos and organize them. you can pick up the templates from them and also edit it according to your plan. You can set color themes for each project. You can also prioritize each task according to your schedule. After you complete the task just check-off the task and if you failed to do it you can reschedule it to the other day. You can also add images to your tasks. You can also add subtasks to each task. You can add time and date when you will do it. You can add links related to the task and get to the work in one click. You can connect Todoist to the Gmail by using the Todoist chrome extension. You can link it to your Google and Facebook accounts.

3. Tide (Timer, Meditation and sleep tracker)

Tide is suitable for top-notch procrastinators like you and me, or for those seeking an outlet to meditate and find inner peace. Tide offers a focus timer feature based on the Pomodoro technique ( 25 minutes of work, 5 minutes of break) that allows you to get work done while listening to a range of nature sounds (rain, waves, etc.). Looking to catch a breath and take some time for yourself? Tide also offers meditations that fit into your already busy schedule, whether you’re walking to work or getting ready in the morning or any moment in between, take a moment for you because you deserve it. Using the various nature sounds, you can also set a timer to nap or sleep peacefully and be welcomed to consciousness with a gentle wake alarm.

Tide is free to use, but if you’re looking to truly find your zen, Tide Plus offers a wealth of additional features. This premium offer gives you access to more sounds of nature, especially if the waves or rain just aren’t cutting it. If you need to meditate in those small windows of opportunities, Tide Plus gives you access to the entire library of meditations and even the daily themed meditations.

4. Google Calender (Calender)

The calendar has been revamped with the new Material Design theme that Google introduced with Android Lollipop. The app now has a cleaner design, with fewer distractions and colorful graphics that add a lot of personality to an otherwise dull app. It looks quite different from the utilitarian design of Google Calendar on the desktop, but I prefer the more fanciful design.

Despite design differences from Calendar on the Web and in the app, navigating your calendar feels very familiar. The app offers similar viewing options, including Day, 3 Day, Week, and Schedule, which shows your agenda as a list. All of those views are that are all accessible via the drop-down picker on the top left of the screen, though the iOS app only has the Schedule, Day, and 3 Day options.

The earlier cramped Month view, which didn't show enough detail to be useful, is gone, replaced with the colorful Schedule view. You can still see a snapshot of a full month, by taping the month label at the top of the screen, but you won't see any events in that view.

Creating new events via the app is easy, thanks to Assists, an intelligent autocomplete tool that helps you create new events quicker by offering suggestions as you type. Even after just a few letters, the app will suggest the most relevant appointments. This is a great feature for creating events that occur over and over, like a haircut or doctor's appointment, because the app remembers the phrases you use.
