We always tell you to read books. We also have a special page on book suggestions. We suggest books on our Instagram page and in newsletters but why? Why reading books is such an important task or a habit in our life. The people are forgetting the importance of books and how they can help you be the master of any subject. They are the collection of people's experiences. They are the solutions by the people who also tackled the problem you are tackling with. They guide you through those pages. Here are the advantages of reading books.

1.Mental Stimulation
Stimulation of our brain is very important. If we don't stimulate it then our brain will be affected by mental problems like Alzheimer's. We need to keep our brain active. As the body needs workout our brain also needs it. We exercise for our body. For our minds, we need to solve brain puzzles or games. Reading books will be more effective to keep our brain active for , long time.
So, whenever you think your brain is not functioning well, start reading books.
2. Knowledge

We need to learn something every day. There is so much to learn in our life and many just stop by learning which is taught by the school. We need to learn constantly. We can get all the information about a thing by reading books alone. Many scientists and authors write books so that readers can learn from their experiences and apply them to their own life.
Many successful people like Bill Gates, Warren Buffet read books and they constantly learn every day. "An average person reads 2-3 books a year but an average CEO reads 50 books a year."
3.Vocabulary Expansion
"The more you read, the more words you gain exposure to, and they’ll inevitably make their way into your everyday vocabulary."
You should know the correct grammar and vocabulary of the language you speak. You need to be well-spoken. You can learn new vocabulary from the books. They are tons of new words when you read. Write them down, find the meanings, and try to add them to your own vocabulary and try to use them when you speak. Whatever language book you read, knowing the vocabulary is important.
4.Memory improvement

When you read a book, you remember the characters, the plot, the names, or the specific lines you like with relative ease. This will increase your capacity and improve your memory too. We can store unlimited stuff in our brains. We can extend the storage of our brains by reading books every day. Unlike a pen drive that has limited storage. Isn't it amazing?
Amazingly enough, every new memory you create forges new synapses (brain pathways)and strengthens existing ones, which assists in short-term memory recall as well as stabilizing moods.
We will post a different blog post on memory improvement.
5. Improved focus and concentration

In this fast-developing world, with the help of internet access. We start stressing out of all the work we have. To reduce our workload and time we start multitasking. We want to complete all the work at once.
A Person opens different tabs all at once and starts doing his work. His email, worksite, twitter, Facebook, YouTube. There are many distractions like ads popping up and we can't actually focus on the work we are doing.
While reading books there are no such distractions and we can completely focus on the ideas and the plot of the book. We completely immerse into the book world and it will improve focus and concentration.
6. Self-development

There are many self-development books on the market. There are many books based on self-help. They are based on research and practical applications.
