Let's start with the day. At what time do you wake up? What do you do after you wake up? Check your phone? Check for emails? or hit the snooze button and get back to sleep? Just take a minute and think about what do you do in the morning. There is a huge difference between a morning routine and a productive morning routine. Here are the things you should do in the morning to be more productive. The main goal after you wake is not to straight away get into work but it is to prepare for the day ahead.

1. Wake up early

Wake up early does not mean that I will suggest you wake up at 4:00 Am in the morning. Waking up early means waking up a few hours before your workday starts. For example, you have to leave for work at 9:00, I will advise you to wake at 6:30 so that you can be prepared for the day. You need to work a few hours so that you don't hurry to leave home and get to your workplace or get into the business routine.

Just set an alarm for the time 2 hours before your work routine and follow the next steps.

2. Drink water

After you wake up drink a lot of water. Your body is 80% water but it gets dehydrated. water helps in your metabolism processes. This will help you to digest food easily and also lose weight. Drinking water will keep you fresh

.Just wake up and drink water. this is much easier right?

3. Make Your Bed

After you drink water. Come back to your bed, not to sleep but to make your bed.

If there's one habit you should adopt to improve your life, it's making your bed every day. That, at least, is the advice from Navy Seal Admiral William H. McCraven:

If you make your bed every morning, you will have accomplished the first task of the day. It will give you a small sense of pride, and it will encourage you to do another task, and another, and another. And by the end of the day that one task completed will have turned into many tasks completed. Making your bed will also reinforce the fact that the little things in life matter. If you can't do the little things right, you'll never be able to do the big things right. And if by chance you have a miserable day, you will come home to a bed that is made — that you made. And a made bed gives you encouragement that tomorrow will be better.

Also, this will help you not to fall back to sleep again

4. Exercise

Exercise is a very good morning routine to get into shape and feel relaxed. It will improve your heart rate, blood flow, you will feel active and brain functions actively. It prepares you for the rest of the day and we feel confident. It is very important to maintain your optimal health. There is no need to got a gym or exercise for 2-3 hours. You just need to work out for 15-30 mins. Stretch your body, do pushups, situps, jumping jacks, crunches, planks, running, cycling, skipping, etc. Also, a quick Yoga session will help you out.

If you are really dedicated to lose your weight or get into shape. It is recommended to use a fitness app that is available for free in the Play Store and Appstore.

5. Meditation

Meditation is a short but powerful practice. It helps you to clean up your mind. You feel stressed out after doing so much work before day and sleep is not enough. Meditation for 10-15 min will help you release from stress and anxiety. Follow guided meditation on your phones and you can practice them every day to clean up your mind.

There is an app called 'Headspace' which is a good app for guided meditation. We will post a different blog on this topic soon in the future.

6. Cold shower

This one may seem a little extreme, but many people swear by taking cold showers each morning. It's similar to athletes who take ice baths, although slightly less frigid.

Why a cold shower? Because it can increase blood flow, burn away unhealthy fat, and release dopamine into the body. Like exercise, it kicks starts your body.

It helps in your good blood flow and keeps your body active.

7. Journaling and affirmations

In his book The Miracle Morning: The Not-So-Obvious Secret Guaranteed to Transform Your Life (Before 8 AM), Hal Elrod says:

When you actively design and write out your affirmations to be in alignment with what you want to accomplish and who you need to be to accomplish it—and commit to repeating them daily (ideally out loud)—they immediately make an impression on your subconscious mind. Your affirmations go to work to transform the way you think and feel so you can overcome your limiting beliefs and behaviors and replace them with those you need to succeed.

Also journaling your thoughts will help you know what you exactly want to do that day. Make a To-do list and schedule your day properly.

Some affirmations you can make area:-

  1. I will do _____ today

  2. I will make ______ money this year

  3. I will read ______ books

Remember a good morning routine will help you to get prepared for your day. This will not take much of your time. This time is to improve yourself. There is no waste of time in following these. Many successful people have this type of morning routine. After doing all these see how your work routine affects.
